    The scanner features the USB interface (Universal Serial Bus), for a direct connection with a Windows 98® installed PC. The ES5584 has received WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) approval from Microsoft.

    If data is currently being keyed in manually, a conversion to bar code data entry can be made without any software changes.
  • High Move Tolerance
    The scanner will read bar code data while in motion, relative to the bar code symbol. This allows the act of scanning to become secondary to the actual work being done. • Human Engineered

  • High Rate of Transfer
    Interface characteristics of the ES5584 allow it to transmit data at a rate of 1.5Mbps, 15 to 500 times faster than other bar code data transmission methods.
  • Reads All Standard Bar Codes
    The scanner automatically reads and discriminates UPC/EAN, Codabar, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, and Interleaved 2 of 5. It can also read UPC/EAN with 2 or 5 digit addendum.
