FEATURES
  • Small Size
    The very compact size, decoded RS-232 output and choice of reading configurations allows the BCR5342 to fit into tight quarters.
  • Triggering Options
    The bar code reader can be operated in external or autotrigger modes. External triggering can be done using the trigger line control, or through host commands.
  • Viewing Options
    Both end and side looking models are available. The side looking option is well suited for extreme space limitations.
  • Large Depth of Field
    The bar code reader has a depth of field of up to 2 inches (5cm), allowing considerable flexibility in scanner/label positioning.
  • Video/CCD imager
    The scanning system is functionally identical to a solid state, one line, TV camera. There are no moving parts to wear out, break or need adjustment.
  • Low power consumption
    The bar code reader operates at 5VDC and only consumes 100mA if current.
  • Reads all standard symbologies
    Reads and autodiscriminates Code 39, Code 128, Code 93, CODABAR, 2 of 5, 12 of 5 and UPC/EAN
  • Reads poorly printed symbols
    The advanced circuitry and optical design of the BCR5342 allows the scanner to reliably read poor contrast and soiled symbols.
