    The scanning system is functionally identical to a solid state, one line, TV camera. There are no moving parts to wear out, break or adjust.

    The compact design and convenient mounting make the BCR5242 easy to install in tight quarters.

    The scanner can be operated with an external trigger or in the autotrigger mode providing operational flexibility.
  • Low power consumption
    The scanner operates at 5VDC and only consumes 130mA of current.
  • Viewing Options
    Both end and side looking models are available. The side looking option is well suited for extreme space limitations.
  • Reads all standard symbologies
    Reads and autodiscriminates Code 39, Code 93, Code 128 CODABAR, 2 of 5, 12 of 5 and UPC/EAN.
  • Large Depth of Field
    The scanner has a depth of field of up to 2 inches (5 cm.) allowing considerable flexability in scanner/label positioning.
  • Reads poorly printed symbols.
    The advanced circuitry and optical design of the BCR5242 allows the scanner to reliably read poor contrast and soiled symbols.
